More circles this week—sometimes one a day, sometimes several. All year, my early morning daily stitching has been a quiet time for observation and reflection. But now, it's not so quiet. The mornings are filled with birdsong: robins, jays, finches, wrens, chickadees, titmice, cardinals, crows, white-throated sparrows, phoebes, red-winged blackbirds, mockingbirds, and—just this week—the wood thrush. What a joyful month!
