Last summer, I saw some indigo-dyed yarn from Pigeonroof Studios on Instagram and fell in love. Before long I was over at her website, purchasing a skein of Dovecote, a sportweight Cormo-Rambouillet blend. I knew I had to design something with it, and the result is my new fingerless mitts pattern, Indikon.
Pattern: Indikon, by Bonnie Sennott
Yarn: Pigeonroof Studios Dovecote in indigo
Left and right twists join knits and purls to create an
appealingly squishy texture in these warm, unisex mitts. Worked in the round on
double-pointed needles, they take their name from the Greek indikon (“blue dye from India”).
The pattern gives instructions for two sizes, fitting palms from 7 inches/18 cm up to 9 inches/23 cm. The textured stitch pattern is provided in both written form and a chart.
Indikon is sure to make someone in your holiday gift list happy. And now through Friday, December 4, they're discounted 25% in my Ravelry store. No coupon code required—the sale price of $4.50 will appear in your cart at checkout. My gift to you as we enter the final weeks of holiday gift knitting!

Thank you very much for reading!

Fun new pattern. I bet they are extra squishy with all that texture.
I am lovin your sis's sweater in this photo. Is it handknit? If so, do you know the name of the pattern?
Thanks!
Heather
