Hint #1: My ball winder is not broken.

Hint #2: It involves destashing partial skeins of wool.

Hint #3: It involves laundry.

Answer here. I'll let you know how they work out.
P.S. There's still time to save on patterns in my Ravelry shop. The pre-Thanksgiving sale—$1 off all patterns—ends at midnight tonight.

This is interesting. I can't wait to see how they will turn out and if they work as well.
Cool! Let us know how they work!
They didn't felt too much, but they were in a fairly full load, so I don't think they were agitated as much as they would have been in a small load. I will felt them again next time I do laundry and see what happens.
ok, i'm really curious about these. what exactly are they supposed to do? it sounds like they take the place of dryer sheets?
*feeling a bit sheepish (pun intended)*
Hi Jody. Yes, the idea is that they replace fabric softener. I thought I'd give it a try and see if they really work.
